The ability to manage the transportation of reels, 4m in height and 25 tonnes each with special cradles containing 9km of cable and weighing 200 tonnes each with supervision of civil works and cable laying.

The engineering, production of the cable to supply and supervision of the civil works including the installation of the cables. Also the cross-bonding, joints and terminations. 

Subsea connections and the connections to substations both on main land or island are all within the capabilities on offer.

A special test programme for torque, tensile strength and sea water resistancy was set up and type testing of cables and enclosures was completed before installation of the first projects that TKF was involved with. This now stands TKF and Webro in prime position for future projects throughout the UK and Ireland and in any environment.
