Alternative to Belden 9842 this cable has 2pair of 24awg with overall foil & braid screen to reduce cross talk. and electromagnetic interference (EIM). Signals are interference free because of the excellent level of screening coupled with low capacitance insulation. This cable features a high level of screening to reduce external interference and is suitable for RS485 data protocols.
The cable is suitable for installation in public buildings and is CPR classified to Cca s1, d2, a1 and ideal for installs requiring compliance to BS6701.
This version has a Low Smoke Non-Halogen (LSNH) Grey sheath.
