Fujikura RS03 Ribbon Fibre Stripper

The Fujikura RS03 ribbon fibre stripper quickly and cleanly strips the UV coating from telecommunications optical fibre. With the RS03, it’s possible to strip single fibres or ribbon fibre up to 16 fibres.

This is a fibre stripper that has been developed with an emphasis on ease-of-use, flexibility, and ergonomics, which is why the RS03 requires less force for the stripping process than previous generations. Furthermore, it is equipped with a large capacity battery for 600 stripping cycles – six times longer than conventional thermal strippers.

The RS03 ribbon stripper has an ergonomic design and requires lower stripping force than the previous strippers.

When the user changes the splice mode, e.g. from 12 fibre ribbon splice mode to SWR fibre splice mode, the RS03 ribbon stripper automatically changes its heating temperature and time with a wireless command from the splicer.

The RS03 is compatible with 200 µm to 400 µm coated fibres without having to replace the stripper blades.

The RS03’s high-capacity battery can deliver 600 stripping cycles.
