What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Rock drummer, Recording studio sound engineer, Professional windsurfer. I managed drum lessons at college, qualified as a part-time windsurf instructor. Follow your dreams!
What’s the best thing about working at Webro?
The Webro team! Very friendly, helpful, hard-working, and caring. Webro is a great working environment for all its staff .
Any pets?
Three cocker spaniels called Maisie, Oscar & Winston (Winnie). Lively, fun, slightly mad & great companions.
Favourite sports team?
Probably not their biggest fan but I like to follow Newcastle United
What 3 words that best describe you?
Honest, reliable & loyal
What would you do if you won big on the Lottery?
Buy a place next to the ocean (with a boat) and share with family & friends
What’s your favourite food?
Seafood or Italian with a nice glass of wine (or two)
What annoys you more than anything else?
Scammers taking advantage of honest & vulnerable people
What superpower would you like to have?
Time travel superhero.
What’s your favourite film, and why?
Has to be Gladiator. Epic movie with a stella cast including Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Richard Harris….and the legendary Oliver Reed
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
Keep fit & active, cycling, the great outdoors, live music events with family & friends
Who’s your favourite band/singer?
If I had to choose one it would be the Scottish rock band, Simple Minds formed by Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill. Great live act still going strong. Second choice would be the English rock band Elbow, originally formed in Bury, Manchester.
What’s your ‘go to’ karaoke song?
Summer of ’69 by Bryan Adams
What was your favourite subject at school, and why?
PE/Athletics. Built for running & swimming. Long arms come in handy for javelin & discus!
Who would you swap places with for a day, and why?
Astronaut! Love to experience rocket lift-off, space-walk, zero gravity, and earth’s view from space.
Who would be your desert island companion of choice?
The actor Tom Hanks for his wisdom, endless storytelling & humour. Coincidentally, Tom Hanks was the lead actor in the survival film ‘Cast Away’ set on an uninhabited desert island.
What’s the best advice that you’ve ever been given?
From my dear Dad……be a good listener and remember to say thank you.
