New WEB Cables
Webro Cables & Connectors have added two new lines to their acclaimed ‘WEB’ range. Both 75 Ohm, the WEB400 and WEB600 coaxial cables are purpose-made for mobile phone and satellite communication applications.
Upholding the highest standards, having passed the stringent IEC 60332-3-24C flame retardance test, they’re also CPR compliant.
If you work on VSAT satellite communications systems on ships, the WEB400 & WEB600 cater for a wide variety of 75 Ohm applications and connectivity. For those that prefer dry land, then these cables are equally at home in domestic and MDU settings, across video applications such as CCTV/CATV, baseband, and broadband. Flexible and easy to route, they’re ideally suited to in-building feeder runs too.
As with all Webro cable products, the 75 Ohm WEB400 and WEB600 are made with superior quality materials. They contain plain annealed copper conductors and foam PE dielectric to ensure accurate impedance values throughout the cable. They also have two screens, one overall bonded aluminium foil screen, and a high coverage tinned wire copper braid that delivers excellent reduction in electromagnetic inference whilst maintaining stable attenuation performance. They’re also fully sheathed in black flame retardant Low Smoke No Halogen (LSNH) material to provide protection for people & equipment. In the event of a fire, this high flame retardance provides a longer evacuation period.
These products complement the already extensive range of ‘WEB’ cables stocked in 50 Ohm, PE & LSNH, and ultra-flexible versions, that are all stocked in bulk reels, cut to the length where required, and delivered on a next-day service.
