The copper price has continued to rise recently, on 10/11 LME pricing exceeded $7000 USD per tonne. On 01/12, the price had increased further to over $7600 USD per tonne.
This level is a big increase from late March 2020 when it was $4617.50 per tonne, largely due to the economic shock of the beginning of the Covid pandemic.
This increase obviously has a significant impact upon our raw material costs. Due to the current volatility, we will continue to monitor materials and keep our customers informed of any future fluctuations.
